eSATA issue

Hi there

I am currently using ASUS P5Q Motherboard and planning to install Windows 7 64bit Professional Edition onto my SATA hard drive. May I know do I need to install any driver from my motherboard web site, in order to make my Windows 7 sees or recognizes my external Hard Drive which is using eSATA interface ?

Please kindly advise ASAP.

Many thanks in advance.

If you install all necessary drivers for your board you should have no problems with eSATA. Windows 7 will happily work with ESATA devices I have connected two drives with no problem at all.

ASUS list Windows 7 64 Bit on their drivers page so you shouldn't have a problem.
