Are you using a USB3 port?
As the Windows 7 installer has not support for USB3.

If it's not in a USB 3 port then the installer is most likely bad. How did you write it to stick?

Try using UltraISO Software To Create Bootable USB Flash Drive which always works for me when the others don't.
