Fix HDD partitioning
I purchased a 4TB WD caviar black HDD to replace a 1TB drive that was ringing out of room. After a success install I used Macrum Reflect to clone the original disk to the new disk. When it was done I had a partition on the new drive that was the same as the old with 2 unallocated area. I believe I deleted the copied partition and now I have 2 unallocated and I can only format the 1st not the 2nd. The expand partition option is grayed out. How do I return the drive to one large partition? Am I having this problem because the system in using MBR vs GPT?
After it is fixed what is fastest way to copy the data from old to new? Is dragging the files to the new drive the best option?
