My friend has had serious issues issues with there laptop and wants to put it back to factory settings.
Now when they bought it they set up the 6 discs to recover from.
However when you select AI Recovery it says no discs have been created yet.
I cant see any other way to use these discs in order to restore it.
can someone help please?
If running Recovery as Ken wrote above doesn't work, then just run the Disks starting with the first one. They either made them or they didn't. They should be kept as backup in case running Recovery from its partition doesn't work. Then if they fail try wiping the HD first with Diskpart Clean Command from the Win7 disk or System Repair Disk.
A much better install is to Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7. Everything needed to get and keep a perfect install is in the blue link.
Pressing F9 did the trick all recovered and back in working order thanks very much for the replies.
Outa interest is that F9 recovery option only for that laptop?
