I understand this is not the right forum, but no one in the win 8 forum is answering. I have a win 7 pc here that's been upgraded to win 8. I want to reset win 8 back to it's default 'new' condition. having not done this yet on an upgraded machine, I want to know if I can simply use the reset option in win 8 for this. I wondering if there is concern it will go wrong because it had win 7 on it before. I did create a recovery drive if that is needed. I don't want it reverting back to win 7. please advise. I will continue looking for confirmation and remove the post when solved as it is not the correct forum. thanks.
