Hard drive troubles and windows errors

    I'm unsure what RMA means?! Thanks for all your help! Someone told me it needs to be reformatted & partitioned before windows will find it, but those options should come up when I put the disk in right? If so, I plan to return it tomorrow! :-/

    RMA means to return to the supplier for a refund or replacement.

    No if you are installing to that drive then you don't need to. See Partition the Hard Drive in a Windows 7 Install

    Ha... That makes sense! Thanks guys! I'll be returning the HD tomorrow wish me luck that the new one works or I'm out a christmas gift! :-(
