How exactly step by step i can downgrade from Win 8 to Win 7 my Acer

    Hello guys,
I got an acer laptop V3-772G 747a model, which i bought it last week. I am pretty happy with the hardware but the windows 8 that the laptop came with is just useless.
Anyway, i decide to downgrade it to windows 7 as i was happy using this version on my desktop. I try two days now to make just a simple format and it seems i try to hack nasa's computer.
    What i have done exactly:
    1. backing up driver.
    2. Enable F12 menu in bios
    3. Disable security mode by setting up password and delete it afterwards.
    4. Disable network boot.
    5. Setting first device the cd rom and second my usb stick
    6. Setting bios to Legacy .
For each step i save and i reboot. When i do the last reboot, comes up the booting menu by pressing F 12 and when i choose to boot from the cd rom or from usb stick it comes the "no booting device massage"
Any suggestions or recommendations on that???
Thank u very much for ur time in advance !!!

Use the latest official Win7 installer for your licensed version burn to DVD with tool from Steps 1 and 2 of Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7.

Since you're not installing in UEFI but chose Legacy Mode you'll need to delete all partitions during the booted install so it will reformat the HD as an MBR disk. If there's any problem then wipe the HD first with Diskpart Clean Command.

I would set the HDD first device to boot, then choose the DVD to boot from the F12 Acer boot choices menu. If it shows any UEFI devices then you haven't got it set fully to Legacy Mode.

As Is this a OEM manufacturer's PC with Pre-installed Windows 8.

    1) Downgrade to Windows 7.
Downgrade Windows 8 to Windows 7
Warning you must have the UEFI/BIOS firmware setting in Step Three set.

Make sure you read the NOTE at Step three.

    2) If Using a USB Pen drive on a PC with a UEFI BIOS.
USB Pen drive need to be formatted to FAT32 as in
UEFI Bootable USB Flash Drive - Create in Windows
Take note of Step 11 for Windows 7.
Also you will need to use a USB 2.0 port, as there are no USB 3.0 drivers in Windows 7.

You will need to buy Windows 7.

On some Acer, Gateway, P. Bell, Windows 7 x64 will not install in UEFI mode.

    Enabling the boot device menu

    Acer said:
On most Acer systems, you can use the F12 key on boot to select the drive or network from which loading the operating system. In case the F12 option does not work, you may need to enable this function.

    SOLUTION

    Enabling the F12 function:

1.Power on the system. As soon as the first logo screen appears, immediately press the F2 key, or the DEL key if you have a desktop, to enter the BIOS.
2.Press the right arrow key to select Main.
3.Use the arrow keys to navigate to F12 Boot Menu, and press ENTER.
    4.Select Enabled, and press ENTER.
5.Press the F10 key to save changes and restart the system.

Thank u very much guys for ur response :)
I sent the same msg to acer's community and still Waiting for reply.
It seems that i get the same msg on each way i have tried..
    Attachment 298145

The only way to go to windows is to have the UEFI ENABLE
    BUT
what i have noticed is i can run the windows cd and i can install the windows 7. I get stuck when the system ask me where i want to install my fresh copy of windows, then is extracting some files,is doing a restrt and then it informs me i cant get install etc..
So i was thinking if i try to install the windows as the way above, and on the point the system asks about in which disk to install windows, if i run command prompt can i run then all the dos commands??? I guess before those commands i have to run some others to disable the secure boot and change to legacy boot right???

To avoid UEFI then you must remove the formatting that is on the HDD which is GPT format to support UEFI. TO do this you must delete all partitions during the booted install, using the Drive Options shown in Steps 7 and 8 of Clean Install Windows 7.

This will force the installer to format the disk as MBR if you've chosen Legacy BIOS or CSM.

    Hello guys,
It seems that the only way to boot is the UEFI. If i change that to Legacy i have the same and the same msg (no bootable device) even if i have enable the F12 menu.
So what i have tried this time was i had the UEFI enable and just the secure boot disable,i logged on in to windows, i run the install from the cd end when the system asked me where to install the fresh copy of windows i run the command promt, as administrator, and the command clean all. NOTHING AT ALL! I have no restrictions, not the right to do that! And who has???!
Please help me, i need to do just a simple format and downgrade to windows 7,why is so hard???

You can't wipe the HD from within Win7. Only the Roadrunner can erase himself.

Unplug all other HD's and peripherals,

Boot into BIOS setup, reset to defaults, save changes. If an EFI BIOS you'll need to decide if you want UEFI BIOS vs. Legacy BIOS. If UEFI follow these special steps for Install, otherwise enable Legacy BIOS or Compatibility Support Module to proceed with normal install:

Set DVD drive first to boot, HD second, set SATA controller to AHCI, Save changes and Exit.

Then boot into Windows 7 installer DVD or flash stick burned or written using tool and latest ISO for your licensed OS version here. I would use a fresh ISO written with tool in Step 2 as yours is in question.

At first installer screen Press Shift + F10, or enter System Recovery Options to open a Command Box, type:

    DISKPART
    LIST DISK
SELECT DISK 0 (after confirming Windows 7 target HD #)
    CLEAN
    CREATE PARTITION PRIMARY
    FORMAT FS=NTFS LABEL="WINDOWS 7"
    ACTIVE
    EXIT
    EXIT

Next click Install Now, then Custom install to Clean Install Windows 7 to the partition you created. If it fails then report back at which step and the verbatim error message.

In addition read over these steps to understand the tools and methods which work best to get and maintain a perfect Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7. The steps are the same for retail.

After install you can adjust partition size or Create new partitions for data, etc. in Disk Mgmt. You are creating the partition here for the purpose of wiping the HD and marking Active which overcomes certain install failures.
