many time installing windows bad or no ?

whether many time installing windows
1- bad for hard drive . yes or no ?
2- why bad for hard drive ?

I can't see that installing Windows frequently would cause any problems with a hard drive.

If you install it correctly you really should not need to reinstall it.

That is no problem. A reinstallation is no more strain then running any other program.

But why would you want to reinstall frequently - Because of the 30 day activation limit ??

Once you get a perfect install as shown in Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7
then save a Windows 7 backup image so you never have to reinstall again.

This is the modern way to handle reinstalls.

Greg, I think he has another reason for frequent reinstalls.

The rearms will run out I think then it's a 3 day deadline to activate anyway.

Crucial told me OS installs can cause degradation of a SSD.

Hmm, how would that be different to any other R/W operations. I really doubt that the SSD would be seriously damaged. It may shorten the lifecycle a bit because of the amount of R/W operations during an install.
