win 7 - new install- no 100 mb partition ??

Hello : formatted existing partition , my children's computer had xp so thought it was a good time to update , installed win 7 64 bit . In disk management I do not see the 100 mb partition ? Ideas ? Tonight I had a hal.dll error , could this be related to this ?

You only get the 100MB partition if you have not pre-partitioned the drive.

The hal.dll error has nothing to do with the drive partitioning setup. I would think it a driver problem. Have you done all the Windows Updates? Any yellow marks in Device Manager?

Yep, your C partition is perfect, at least in my opinion
