Windows 7: cant dual boot with xp?

cant dual boot with xp?

xp wont want to install? option is greyed out

Check to make sure your XP disc isn't an upgrade copy. If so, then you won't be able to install it unless Windows 98 or 2000 or ME is on the computer.

There are some tricks to be able to install anyways. I don't know any of them.

your system specs say vista, you're on a 7 forum, and you're having trouble installing xp?

what do you currently have installed?
