1. If you dont
"slipstream the latest Updates into the installer ISO to save at least an hour's Updating after install using Update 7 installation media."
will they get updated by using LiveUpdate or will you have to manually install them?
2. Considering I have to main links to read and one of them is for OEM Windows 7 clean install and the other is just Windows 7 clean install, whats the difference?
3. What do you do after you "Run an audit of hardware and software including installed Product Keys using Belarc Advisor." Why do you do this and what is it for? How do you save the information, and why do you need it?

-does this mean that the wireless/ethernet lan drivers will not be installed using the iso? What other drivers would one have to save separately? Also where do you find the drivers and how do you save them on to a flash stick or CD?
-What does it mean to gather your installers?
5. I dont know if these things are considered Bloatware or whatnot, but all the stuff in Asus Utility folder, will that not be part of the new installation? Will i have to somehow get those programs, like Asus liveupdate, and asus secure delete, and asus virtual camera etc. onto a usb and how would i do that, all the stuff in the folder are shortcuts.

The problem with editing posts is nobody gets updated about new content, if you have new questions before someone responds editing is fine otherwise you may as well post a new post.Junyahh said:
If you want to update the WIn7 installer to what it should be if we had a SP2 then you can use that, but it will probably take as long as getting them via Important and Optional Windows Updates on a single install.
The OEM reinstall tutorial compiles many tips for preparation and setup while the Clean Install tutorial provides illustrated steps for the actual install itself.
It's mainly used to audit software product Keys like Office or other paid software so you don't lose them with the reinstall. It also gives you a complete audit of your hardware including BIOS version and other installed hardware. I print it using XPS Document printer to a file in the backup for reference if needed. It's optional.

These questions about which bloatware to reimport are answered in the tutorial. After all Updates, supply any missing drivers as it explains how to do. Then install your programs slowly with space between each to monitor any performance changes. Take notice of any features that you rely upon which are missing, e.g. backlighting, function keys, cam software you need beyond a driver, etc. Then you can reimport that specific software from the Asus Support Downloads webpage for your model. This is all explained in the tutorial, including how to gauge if you need patches and other downloads from Asus. You should judge this by performance after install.
What will not be on the ISO are your programs that you want, Flash Player, some drivers provided by WIndows Update or needing importation from Asus website per the tutorial, and possibly some Asus software for functions you notice are not working fully and which you rely upon.
