No, we don't need to check that yet. If the Realtek driver works, we cna just pick Emerald5 from the list.

Good, scratch one task off the list.

You can check it withput unpluggin the cable

click on the system tray network icon - it should present a list of networks to choose

If it does, then choose Emerald5

and we were under the assumption this was a desktop pc.
