The only results I saw are the HD SMART data which is not normally reported by a HD extended CD scan. It instead scans each sector and reports its condition. What Extended scan are you running? It needs to be run from the disk.
Maybe your scan can't proceed if you're sure you've run the Extended scan. Can we see some pictures of how the extended scan transpires?
If these tests are failing as the SMART data test seems to report, and format can't seem to complete which may mean it has too many bad sectors to quarantine, then you'll need to replace your HD.
You can reconfirm the tests with Partition Wizard CD Partition surface test
which will show you a map of the sectors as its scans them and fails/passes each, or maybe the Seagate Seatools can actually run Diagnostics on the hard drive because WD is not doing full diagnostics.
If you don't want to reconfirm then just replace the HD.
