An O.S. needs to be installed on a Primary partition in order to be marked Active, as your new Win7 install must have done to take over the boot. So you need to convert the Logical partition to primary using a disk manager.

I suggest using free Partition Wizard which is fully compatible with 64 bit. Right click on the RC drive and see if it will allow you to modify Logical to Primary. If you cannot modify L>P then you can see if it will mark Active but I doubt it. Best to keep what you have and just hide the RC partition.

If you can convert the logical Win7 drive to primary:

    1) make a backup image of your entire HDD using WIndows 7 backup imaging, and save it to an external drive, because these partition swapouts fail about half the time. If it fails you can easily reimage and try again.

    2) use Partition Wizard to delete the RC partition. Cue up this and the next two steps without clicking Apply until all 3 are complete.

    3) copy the new Win7 (wtf is Eternity?) into the space where RC was, providing RC was in the first partition space.

    4) right click on new Win7 partition and mark it active if it is not already.

Now, Apply these changes. Upon completion see if Win7 will start; if not, run Startup Repair from the Repair Console of your Win7 install disk or from a System Repair disk which you need to make ahead in Backup and Restore center if you dont' have an install disk .
