Will anyone answer some questions on Windows XP upgrade?

    Can you confirm it is XP Home?

    Your post above is kind of vague without a link, it looks like it might be an EBay listing?

    Howdy derekimo,
    Greg mentioned what I would need for an old HP XT858 desktop. I was just wondering if this matches his description??? Yes I believe it is XP Home.

    Windows XP Home Edition SATA Drivers re Install Disc | eBay

    It doesn't mention OEM but it does infer that it is with these words,

    Note that you will need a Windows XP Home Edition Activation key that was Provided with Your Desktop or Laptop Computer To Use This Disc.

    You can always message the seller on eBay to find out for sure, but I agree it looks like OEM by what description says. Remember that unlike Vista/Win7/Win8 it must be an OEM channel installer to reinstall Factory OEM XP.

    Yes Sir that is it! Finger's crossed! Now trying to get XP Pro running on VM on my Xubuntu laptop. Help refresh my XP memory and run some astronomical software that is only Windows, should it work!!!
