migration to SSD, desktop not loading

Ok, so I recently migrated my system to an ssd, a samsung 840 pro 128GB, from a 1 TB western digital black hard drive. Everything is ok, except my desktop items load alot slower than they should for an ssd, and I realized my desktop is actually still loading from my old drive. I don't know how to fix this, I cannot just delete it or anything like that. I have my boot drive (my ssd) set as drive letter E after my C hard drive and my D disk drive, is that part of the problem? please help me get my desktop on my ssd to load instead of the identical desktop on my hdd.
    Thanks in advance :)

If Win7 on the SSD is not booting as C then you've done something wrong. It should have been specified as Auto for drive letter choice, mark 7 boot partition Active, include MBR and Track0 if those choices were offered. Which program did you use?

After correct transfer to the SSD, unplug all other Drives to see if Win7 will boot on its own. If not confirm Partition Marked Active to run Startup Repair - Run 3 Separate Times until Win7 boots on its own.

You made a mistake during that migration. How did you migrate your OS ?? And as was said, a Disk Management sceenshot would be helpful.

BIOS configuration needs to be updated show your SSD drive as the hard drive #1 in the boot sequence.
