Need Help getting dual boot working!

He would just have 100mb free space before the o/s files. Unless you start moving all that data.

Never tried running a repair install after doing that - not sure I would suggest it as haven't done it myself.

So, keeping the 100mb, would the repair install do it's job to reassert the boot config properly in this situation?

Seems the XP drive wasn't seen when 7 was installed, or the 100mb wouldn't be there. If not, then wouldn't repair install run now correct everything?

No point in messing with boot.ini , it is correct.

Strange - perhaps ntldr is damaged.
