    Code:
    License Status: Initial grace period
    Time remaining: 43200 minute(s) (30 day(s))
    .
    .

    Windows Product ID: 00392-918-5000002-85224
    Windows Product ID Type: 1
    Windows License Type: KMS Client
This installation isn't activated, and there is no way to do that - its a volume licence key.

Unfortunately you were conned. You need to look elsewhere for a genuine Windows 7 or Windows 8 licence.

If the PC was listed as having Win7 on it, Contact the seller and tell them you've been advised that it has a Volume License key which cannot be used for retail consumer Win7. You will need a Win7 Product key to activate it (after reinstall per the link I gave you earlier) or you should ask for your money back if you dont' want to buy a copy of Win7 (around $89 at Tiger Direct).

If you paid by PayPal then you can get your money back in most cases which involve bootleg software by calling their Customer Service. Let us know what they say.

MS has a program where if you cooperate with an investigation of counterfeit Win7 being sold they may award you with a free copy. You can initiate this via Customer Service.

    Well, dang, ain't that sad.
I'll contact the seller and see what he has to say, but I won't be holding my breathe.
On the bright side, at least there is 30 days to think about it.
    OK, 29 days.

Thanks for putting me right, folks.

They can`t sell you a pc without a COA on it, and you don`t really want Windows 7 Enterprise, I would return it for a full refund.

Unless you want to buy Windows 7 from a reputable dealer.

Home Premium or Professional is all you need.
