| | upgrade xp to windows 7 twice? Hi there, I bought the "win 7 home upgrade" and installed over my existing XP with no problems (didnt use upgrade option did a clean install). However I have a new motherboard/CPU arriving today and will need to reinstall win 7 again. My question is can i do this easily as the is no XP to "upgrade" from anymore. Also, how many times can you use the "upgrade" disk on 1 PC? Cheers P |

| | Welcome to Seven Forums, husker Not sure if you are going to be able to do what you want to do but I have been hearing good things about Windows back up and restore. You could look at that in this tutorial. I have also been hearing that MS is very understanding and a phone call could get you activated again if need be.
