Have you tried Troubleshooting Windows 7 Failure to Start?
Those steps lead up to if necessary rescuiing your files to do a Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7. Everything needed is in the tutorial. Some of the links for WIn7 ISO downloads are down, so download any 32 bit version which will download, unlock all versions by running the eicfg removal tool to burn to DVD or write to bootable flash stick with the tool also provided. Then choose your licensed version during install.
Run recovery at 1st boot, the screen should show you what key to push to start the recovery process.
Your recovery drive ( partition )is in the computer, impossible to loose.
If you have a sticker on your PC that has a Windows 7, 25 character Product Key, you are in good shape. This is what matters on the Windows install. You can download the Windows file from here
Windows 7 Direct Download Links, Official Disk Images from Digital River and burn it to a DVD. Be sure and get the correct language, version (home premium, pro, etc) and correct either 32-bit or 64-bit. These must be the same as what you originally had on your PC. You can then use this tutorial to guide you to the install of Win 7 Clean Install Windows 7 When you get it installed and is working good, then you can insert the Produce Key. Don't do it until then. Let us know how it goes. == I just found out that the first link for the Windows file is temporarily down. It might be down for a couple days, but keep trying it.
When you bought your PC, you paid for your Windows Key, the sticker. Downloading the file is just part of it. Yes, it is very legal. == It looks like you posted your message before I changed mine. The links for the Windows download is temporarily down. It will only be for a couple days. Keep checking back.
