HP Pavillion DV4Z-1000 CTO

Are there any driver that i should load? or any setting i can change?

win 7 and some hardware have heat issues. You should at leasr update the BIOS. what was the error message when it shutdown. If it isnt there you can look in event viewer (type eventvwr in search) look in windows log>applications and system.

If you are still overheating you should make sure the fans are running clean out the insdie of the computer with compressed air and test temps again

Something you might to also keep in mind, Windows 7 (if you use the windows provided drivers for your video card) may take control of the cooling fan for the card.

I'm not saying this is 100% the case, however, it would be something to consider. There usually is software that you can download for free that monitors fan speeds on video cards, etc. It may be worth looking into if the heat issue doesn't go away with cleaning, etc.

That is amazing. The maximum operating temperature for a QL60 is 100C. I doubt that it gets that hot. There must be other factors that shut the system off. As was said earlier, maybe the BIOS parameters were changed.
