Not that I've heard. I think they want them to be non-transferrable at this point in Win7's lifecycle. But I see no reason it won't last as long as XP since it shows no signs of age at 5.

Thanks, Greg. Stumbled across that and "deleted" my post. To bad. Win 7 (IMO) is the today's XP. I guess they really want to push win 8 and later, subscription ware.

My computer was hit a malware. I was able to clean/quarantine the malware, but my startup folder is empty. From the Windows logo start, I am able to see the folders in "All Programs". But all the folders are empty. These startup folders are also empty when I navigate to their locations in Window...
