    Dual boot problems

I just installed W7 as a dual boot with XP SP3 and every thing is working fine. I am now trying to move programs to W7. My problem is when I restart my system (after the initial time) it reboots into W7 without giving me a choice to bootup in XP. My BIOS is Amirican Megatrends V9.3 01/09/2009. Can anyone tell me how to get my system to give me the choice of OS upon booting? I found a work around by changing the boot sequence and making the system believe it is the initial boot of a dual boot, but it requires several reboots and uses a lot of time -- there must be a way to have the system give me a boot choice every time i boot up.
    Thanks

Yes there is. Use Easybcd to add an entry for XP to the boot manager.
If XP fails to load from the boot screen itself (bios changing will still work, regardless) saying it is missing NTLDR, copy NTLDR, ntdetect.com and boot.ini to the partition with your WIn 7 boot files.

You can find out which partition has your Win7 boot files by opening disk management in Win 7 and seeing which is labeled as "system."

    Good luck!

    Thanks Steven
I never heard of Easybcd -- when I tried to access it from web it tried to sell be a Driver Robot for $39. Where do I get a copy of Easybcd and what should it cost?
    Thanks

I dug around the web and found Easybcd 1.7.2 for free and used it to add XP to my boot manager. This fixed the problem.
    Thanks
