Realize that when you're done with all this work, presuming you don't accidentally hose up your machine (as a lot of folks in the linked thread reported they did!), you still have the "registry" back on "C:" on the SSD! So, while you might be able to move the bulk of the program-related material to the HDD, you still have to deal with the "registry" remaining on the SSD.
