Problem loading win 7 64 bit
I'm attempting to load win 7 64 bit on the following hardware:

I have loaded/reloaded this copy of 7 several times, but this is the 1st with this MOBO. My i7 MOBO, which I bought for & used with this win 7 in the past, has bitten the dust, so I am using this core 2 MOBO. All the hardware in question runs XP Pro 32 bit fine, as well as Linux Mint Mate 64 bit. 7 loaded fine on this SSD with the i7 board several times previously, and has run fine with this vid card. The drive has been formatted & contains only one partition now.
7 seems to load fine & begin the installation, but stops at the screen below, basically an empty desktop w/active mouse pointer.
Mouse responds, keyboard lights up, but no buttons produce any response, including the window button, and ctrl/alt/delete. It looked at first like the thing thought it was running 2 monitors, and the one in front of me is not the "main one", though it was the only one connected at the time. No messages AT ALL appear once the initial "loading files/starting" things shows. Just sits there on that screen. Connected a 2nd monitor, both screens display the same thing, background, mouse arrow, etc., and nothing is accessible on either. Never seen this before with any OS load. What might the trouble be?
