| | "Setup was unable to determine...BitLocker" While attempting to do an upgrade from Vista Home Premium 64 bit to Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit I get the following message; "Setup was unable to determine if BitLocker Drive Encryption is in use." The only option then is to cancel the upgrade. I've tried installing 3 times now with the same results. To my knowledge BitLocker isn't even installed on my pc. I have never even heard of it until this evening Should I try for a clean install? I have also had my CD/DVD drive vanish from My Computer after rebooting. Thanks for any help. |

| | Well, I know the Vista Home Premium version does not contain Bit Locker, are you encrypting the drives any other way? Just asking, but are you compressing the drive? |

| | Saltgrass, Thanks for the reply. No, I'm not compressing the drives...at least I don't think so. I am running Intel Matrix Storage Manager and the 2 drives are set up as RAID 1, mirroring. Could this be what's confusing Windows 7? Thanks |
