clean installed windows 7 64 over windows 8

hello to all not sure if this is possible or the right place to ask as stated in can anyone tell me if it is possible to find my windows 8 product key that is locked in bios even though I have windows 7 installed has anyone done this succesfully if yes please tell me how thanks in advance

Who told you the key is in the bios ?

Doesn`t the PC have a Windows 8 COA ?

If this was an OEM computer that originally came with Windows 8 preinstalled, then the Windows 8 product key would indeed be embedded in the BIOS/UEFI firmware. There would not be a COA sticker.
