BOOTMGR is missing + windows installtion error 0x80070017

I tried to formate my pc a few days ago because it had plenty of software errors. I did a standard reinstallation of windows and then it gave me error: 0x80070017. Then when my pc rebooted it said BOOTMGR is missing, press Ctrl + Alt + Delete to restart.
I have tried pretty much anything. I have broken 3 harddiskes trying to fix this, all of them have the same problem now. I have tried with different motherboards, different windows cd's. I have changed my Cmos battery but nothing seems to help.

I'm completly clueless at this point.

Hello Sulerk, and welcome to SevenForums! (This is one of my first days here too, but even though I'm not as skilled as other people, I am glad to help.)

First off, what are you installing Windows from? (A USB flash drive, CD/DVD, etc.)

The 0x80070017 error usually refers to a corrupted installation package. If you are able to use another computer, download the Windows .iso file that corresponds to your attempted installation version from here (Windows 7) or here (Windows 8), and follow these instructions, or, if you have an installation DVD from Microsoft, contact their support for a replacement under warranty.

    Best of luck,
