    Windows 7 installation Error

Do I have to delete all partitions in order to install windows 7? Can I keep my D: drive and only format the C: drive? I got an error on expanding window files, it was stuck at 0% and gave me an error code x800 something I couldn't remember correctly.

I've deleted my C; drive and the system partition left only D: Drive with only 200mb+ left.

Has anyone experienced the same problem like me?
    Please help TT.

    Thank you in advance!

No, but you can if you want to. You could delete them all or instead install to an existing partition if it's large enough.

Yes, but you should backup what's on D before you begin as a safety precaution.

In an ordinary installation process, you don't tell Windows to format anything.

You just select where you want to install and Windows will that space automatically if necessary.

You probably have some "unallocated space" where C used to be. You could choose that space and Windows will install to it, making a new C partition in the process.

I don't know anything about the error you mentioned.

What choices do you see when you get to the screen that says "Where do you want to install Windows", or can you get that far?
