kingston is going to replace it with another model(ram) see if its works because i only get the blue screen when i have 4gb in there i can use it with my acer ram but i get the blue screen.
Was the Acer RAM working fine previously? How long did you run the Kingston RAM before the bluescreen?
Go ahead and try it. Are they giving you an RMA with free shipping, or at least telling you how to send it back?
My acer model is M5100 series.
Nanya Ram(acer)(its inside the computer so i can't check it)
can work with Windows vista 32bit (4gb)ram,Windows 7(32bit) 3gb ram Windows 7(64bit) with 3gb ram
when i put in the last stick in there(kingston ram) i get the blue screen.
Well i dunno what to do now? should i just run windows 7(64bit) with 3gb ram?
I recommended you call Kingston because they are a favorite local company here because they always try to fix compatibility issues or replace bad RAM.
I can't tell by your short answers if they thought their RAM was incompatible, and why?
You had said you have Value Ram but Kingston will often say if there is an OEM ram for that model that they won't guarantee Value Ram and refer you to the OEM RAM. Is this what they are doing for you - Offering to replace the Value RAM with OEM RAM that might be more compatible?
Again, it is hard to interpret such short answers and it looks like I am tossing off guesses to Snuffy, I suppose, when I am really trying to get the full information.
