    Hello David,

Yep, you would install Windows 7 the same on a SSD and HDD. It makes no difference. :)

    Hi Brink.
This is what I have ready for tomorrow. Also been reading your thread regarding installing windows 7.
There was one part regarding a password,Well I'm the only one using this computer so do I just click on next to by pass the password setup?
This is my plan of action.

I have a windows 7 home premium 64 Bit desktop,And on Thursday I'm planning to re install the O/S on it.I have
    The windows disc
ISO disc with SP1 on it which I downloaded from Digital river
    The genuine windows key.
Disc with Windows 7 64 bit drivers
Disc for Driver & Utilities for nVidia chip-set Main board.
Now what i would like to know is there anything in particular that I should be wary of?.
I'm going to be brave I also have a laptop to fall back on for info in case something does go wrong.
    Many Thanks.

On my C drive only the Operating system and program files are on it,All doc's etc are on another internal hdd.
Do I have to look out for anything in particular or will it be straight forward as your link?
    Thanks.

If you don't want a password, then you could just leave the password fields empty to do so.

I would recommend to disconnect all hard drives other than the drive you are installing Windows on to make sure the "System Reserved" partition is installed on it and not any other drive by mistake. You can connect the other drives back after the installation has finished.

If you're installing Windows to a drive of it's own without any other partitions, then it should go smoothly and like in the tutorial to select the "unallocated space" disk at step 8 to install to. :)

    Hi Good morning Brink.
Well went to start project placed the windows disc into drive and restart but the only option I get on screen is to repair.
Have tried fressing F5 F8 & delete tab on keyboard but cant seen to get the option as in the screenshots in your instructions.
    Any help there please.
