The only download I know of is 903 MB, all in one piece.

File name:

windows6.1-KB976932-X64.exe

That's the 64 bit version. As far as I know, it applies to all 64 bit versions of Windows 7.

Thanks. This is the first person understood what I really need. Actually I also know about this file. But I wanted to know that if there is any other version of the file which is compressed or something that is smaller in size.

Thanks

We get the point.
The real point is once you install SP-1 leave it alone.
What programs do you have that will not run with Windows 7 SP-1 installed?

What the good folks here are trying to do is give you the proper methods of running Windows 7.

So we can help you better please do this tutorial by Brink and post the log here.

So I can't just waste it all by windows update. I have other works to do on internet. So I just wanted to know if there is any way where can I download only the hotfix that will give me sp1 after installation. When my work is done, I'm going to uninstall sp1 and get back to normal windows 7 without service pack. You guis are going away from the point.
Did you even read what I wrote? You don't have WIn7 if you dont' have SP1, any more than you'd have a car with half an engine you had overhauled and then removed the overhaul.

I would run Windows Updates in increments according to what you can afford to download, as it will provide a smaller version of SP1 by giving you most of the contained Updates individually before if even queues a smaller SP1.

You cannot uninstall SP1 so just stop going on about that. I've explained to you that without SP1 you have no Windows 7, just a crap sandwich. For some reason you seem to want that but you'll not have it with our help. This is the top tech forums on the web and we don't do ridiculously shoddy work.
