Accidentally Messed up my laptop (Acer Aspire S3-951-6464)

Hey there.. i don't know if this is the right forum to ask this question.. but i accidentally deleted the SSD and the HDD partitions on my Acer which comes with a 20GB SSD and a 300GB HDD.. i accidentally deleted those two when i was trying to install ubuntu the other day... i know that was totally stupid of me to delete the SSD which is the recovery partition.. to make things even worse i never kept a backup of it..

However i did have a genuine windows 7 home premium DVD which i installed it into my laptop's HDD, installed all the drivers and all... from the acer drivers download age... including IRST (Intel Rapid Storage Technology).. but the boot up seems to be slower than ever...

soo.. i was wondering if anyone could give me a list of programs that were originally installed with windows... and how to speed up the start-up time when it was first unpacked.. from what I've read here, my laptop doesn't seem to use IRST but expresscache.. soo i thought there must be something more than setting up windows and installing all the drivers to get the original start-up time back... and which is why i'm asking this question... Thanks! :) ... hope i made myself clear....

If you have IRST then it requires special steps to Install Windows on MSATA (SSD) Drive or Install Windows on System with MSATA and ISRT.

The SSD will house the virtual paging file and boot files to speed boot and virtual memory. The speed difference without it is reported in most cases to be negligible.

So the focus should be on doing a perfect Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 using the tools and methods that work best for Win7.

i think i'm forced to use expresscache as my motherboard does not support Intel Smart Response Technology.. it only supports ACHI...

P.S. if anyone has the Expresscache files for Acer Aspire S3-951 could you please let me know....

Then why do you think you have a 20gb SSD? Such a small SSD is only used to speed up the Virtual Memory cache and boot files, not house the Recovery partition.

Please post back a screenshot of Disk Management - Post a Screen Capture Image

What is ExpressCare? Never heard of it.

I'd follow closely Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 which compiles everything that works best for Win7 and assure you will get and keep a perfect install for as long as you stick with those tools and methods included.

if you'd recommend a clean install of windows.. which i did earlier... then why is my system still slow after that.. i mean it takes 3 minutes to fully start up... earlier it would take less than that

I just explained that you need to follow special steps to reinstall IRST to an MSATA drive. I gave you two links to click to read how this is done depending upon which IRST you have. Is there some reason you would just ignore them and then expect to proceed?

I would also read the Manual on the PC model's Support Download webpage to see if it has steps for reinstall with the IRST. I don't know why you wouldn't have already done this before randomly installing another OS without doing any preparations.
