    windows 7 home Premium x16-96072


    hey there i've been searching the internet for hours but i can't seem to find the windows i need... what i need is windows 7 home Premium x16-96072... but all i can find is the ones that start with x15 and x17.... i mean if x15 is the oldest and x17 is the latest where did x16 go... i fnayone of you could please send me a link to the x16-96072 version of windows.. thanks!

    I think that's just an OEM version of Windows 7 Home Premium. If you have a Product Key, you should be able to use the X-17 equivalent.

    why..? can't i just get the x16 anymore..? thanks for your reply it's 5:15 AM and i've been doing this ll night.. oh yes and on more thing downloaded this torrent that says windows7 home premium 64 it OEM.. it's 3.12G but the x17 is 3.04G... soo should i use the torrent or the one from mydigitalriver.. thanks!

    If you want to use a torrent, that's your business.

    I'd use Digital River. It's known to be legit Microsoft.

    You'll need the Product Key to activate.

    i still can't figure out why there isn't an x16 on the internet... is x16 better or x17


    EDIT: this seems to be the only page with x16's..... but what exactly is an N version

    I don't think you'd find any difference other than the licensing. I've never heard of anyone but you trying to find X16. Everyone uses X17. It's been out there at Digital River for years.

    okay now i'm confused.. should i download this:

    or this:

    58997 is the newest, with Service Pack 1 and the media refresh.
