    Home Premium DVD for Professional install?


    I have Home premium DVD and one unused professional edition key from digital river. Is there any way to use the home premium DVD for professional ed.installation?

    You can use something like UltraISO to make an .iso file of your current disc. Then go in and delete the ei.cfg file, and reburn the .iso to a new disc. When you boot from the disc, you'll be given a choise of which OS to install. Assuming your key is legit, it will work if you choose to install Professional.

    This should work from the normal Disk if you simply choose not to enter the key during install

    It should then ask you to select the version you have purchased - select professional and enter the key once the install is completed

    No Barman it dosent. It will install the version you pruchased by default. I am trying Deaconfrosts advice now to see if it works.
