Hi
I have asus x401a notebook and it was getting slow so I decided to install fresh windows 7 and since this notebook doesn't have cd/DVD drive I burned the windows on USB and when I tried to change the boot option priorities to USB I couldn't find it in the boot setup I only have two other options which are :
Boot option #1 (PO: Hitachi HTS547 ... )
Boot option #2 (Realtek PXE B03 D00)

Hi Welcome to Seven Forums .. Look in the Advanced Menu for Configuration for USB ...
It could be set to USB Legacy Disabled ....
Does it have a one time boot menu ?
If it does it will show/tell you which key to push when you 1st boot the notebook, it will be quick, so watch the bottom of the screen for it.

Since that model ships with Home Premium why do you have Ultimate in your specs? Use the licensed Win7 version which you own on the PC only which should be this download http://msft.digitalrivercontent.net/win/X17-58997.iso if you want 64 bit,
however I would use 32 bit with only 4gb RAM from here: http://msft.digitalrivercontent.net/win/X17-58996.iso. 32 bit provides slightly better performance with 4gb RAM or less.
Then use the tool provided in Step 2 to write to flash stick. The stick should show up in BIOS boot menu (Asus F8 key) unless you have an EFI BIOS or need to have some other options in BIOS setup adjusted to allow for USB boot.

Without specific model numbers I can't answer this for sure, but some motherboards will only boot to certain USB drives, I have had problems booting to SanDisk Cruzers before.
I'd try another flash drive, and ensure your BIOS settings are correct.
