What is the way to make windows 7 bootable in a usb flash drive?
Hi, I do fresh install of Windows on a regular basis and I recently wanted to start using usb flash drive for it instead of CD-ROM. I used the software Rufus for setting up the flash drive with windows 7 All in One and I am having different errors all the time (I will write the exact error messages a next time). I have also used different Windows iso of non-all-in-one and still have errors most of the time; sometimes I get the install working though.
My question: What is the best way to add Windows 7 AIO or normal version into a thumb drive that will work almost all the time? I have tried different thing so far with deceiving result.
This is really important for me as I do this often and its really faster with thumb drive and I really wish I can get to make it work as it should.
I have also tried that method of removing the flash drive and restarting the installation but that doesnt work, exept one time.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Also if you guys understand what are the reasons for having those errors appear everytime I try to install Windows on an hard drive, that would be appreciated if you can share some infos with me.
Thank you very much
