what to do if most programs don't show up in uninstall menu?

(the main uninstall menu located in the control panel for windows) Not sure how to fix this, it's letting me assume a main windows registry key is corrupt, also I've been getting IQRL not less or equal BSODs about every few days but only if the computer is idle for a while. Programs that only seem to show up are the ones that were re-install recently or had a big update, like a game. If anyone needs system info ill be glad to post.

this is a huge pain for trying to deal with a BSOD since I cant uninstall anything that might be causing the bluescreen, like a bad driver. (you might say oh just go to the program directory and manually do it, problem with that is there's a lot of stuff that I've tried that on and either they don't provide a uninstaller there or it simply doesn't work.

If you try to re install the same program again, you will often get a pop up window that will say...

    Repair
    Modify
    Un Install

You can then un install the program that way.

most of the stuff i'm trying to uninstall is old, I don't have the installers anymore and if a new version is downloaded it most likely wouldn't ask me that. there was one or two programs that had an installer still inside the directory but it just pops a the "did this program install correctly" message, nothing else to do on that menu. I really just need a workaround to get my control panel restored so it shows me my programs installed.

CCleaner has an un install program, maybe you could try that.

Yeah ive had Ccleaner for years, never saw that, strange lol. It looks though a few of the ones i wanted gone are indeed showing up in ccleaner but the list is still far too short of what its suppose to have of programs installed

Also, would you consider it bad to clean the registry once a month? Not sure if it's suppose to be done that often.
