How to install w7 over w8

    Hi all,
I'm going to buy a laptop and want an SSD with W7 O/S. I've looked at s/hand jobs but I can get a new Asus model X750JN-TY050H at a reasonable price. It has W8.1 installed on a 1Tb HDD but I want to put in a 256Gb SSD, load W7 on it and use the HDD for storage etc.
    Questions/Problems:
From what I read Asus do not supply W7 drivers for this model.
How to get all the necessary drivers and which ones do I need?
Can I just format the HDD and install W7 on the SSD or are there associated problems?
Should I just learn to live with W8.......(I'd rather drink liquid mercury).
Bottom line, can it be done and how to do it?

Why not just download Classic Shell? Windows 8 benefits with really the only deal breaker in most peoples eyes, start screen.
Classic Shell - Start menu and other Windows enhancements

As far as drivers, I see they have 8.1 listed, you could possibly try those.

    Or you can use drivermax

You should have no problem wiping the HDD and installing Windows 7 the SSD. You'll need a valid Windows 7 product key or try to downgrade windows 8 to 7 and then use the Win7 key to install and activate it on the SSD.

I've never not been able to find any Win7 drivers during tens of thousands of Win7 installs I've helped with for every kind of hardware old and new. Most are delivered via the installer or Windows Updates when you enable Automatically deliver drivers via Windows Update (Step 3) then run all rounds of Important and Optional Windows Updates. It shows how to find any others as well as all other steps, tools and methods to achieve and keep a perfect install in Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7.
