    Can't boot from flash drive

Ok, so i'm trying to do a fresh install of windows but i can't get it to boot properly from flash drive. I've tried the microsoft usb tool and creating a uefi drive through rufus. I searched through bios endlessly and can't find CSM anywhere, i've also tried legacy on and off. Whenever i boot from the drive it skips right over to the hard drive, even if i take the hdd out of the boot list it just says "add proper boot device and press any key". I'm sporting a M5A78L-M LX plus mobo and an FX-6300, any help would be GREATLY appreciated!.

Do you have USB Port listed in your BIOS boot priority?

Are there any references to UEFI, EFI, Legacy BIOS or LEgacy Boot in your BIOS? What are the BIOS Boot Priority order listings? Any UEFI?
