New UEFI MB, windows 7 install error 0xc0000225, HDD MBR partitions

    Hello!

On my desktop computer, I had dual boot - win xp on :C and win7 x64 on :E. I had to buy a new motherboard and processor because old MB was fried and now I can't install new win 7. My HDD had 4 MBR partitions and I would like to keep 2 of them (D, F) because I have valuable files there. New MB is Asrock FM2A88M and it seems to have UEFI.
First I tried to install new OS from DVD, but it wouldn't boot, nevermind the boot order. I would just get boot option screen with win xp and win 7, but ofc I can boot neither. There is no point in trying to repair it, because it wouldn't work anyway. I suppose it's because it wasn't for UEFI. So I made USB UEFI boot and it boots from USB -Windows is loading files, but when it finishes I get 0xc0000225 error. I just want to format :C and :E, install win7 on :C. My HDD is 500GB and I don't have any need for GPT partitioning. Secure boot is disabled and I didn't see any option in BIOS/UEFI that would help me.

Do you have any advice? I really don't want to format my whole disk, even if I had that option.

What solves most installation problems is wiping the HD, so I'd back up my files to do that if the other steps don't help from Overcoming Windows 7 Installation Failures - Windows 7 Help Forums.

The correct way to install an OS is always to delete all partitions anyway to clear the partition table which can otherwise intefere.

Let us know how this goes.
