Reinstall ISO available for purchase on DVD?

The many reinstall procedures throughout the various forums mention downloading a large (3GB) file from MS or some other sites. One example is GSP1RMCHPFRER_EN_DVD, which a combination of an original Win-7 64-bit install with SP-1 included. Downloading can take about 4 hours...taking a huge chance that the download will finish and be error-free. Is this file available for purchase on a DVD from a reliable source? [Two attempts at downloading have resulting in a "corrupt file" error message when reading the DVD as part of the reinstall process. Non matches via DM5 hash totals would indicate some kind of corruption.] Thank you.

Dell might sell you a Reinstallation DVD for your PC which has nothing added except Activation and a logo.

What I suggest is you follow Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 which will result in a perfect install if you stick with the steps given.

To protect your download integrity against connection loss what I would do is install Firefox and its add on Down Them All download manager which lets downloads stop and start.

This site along with Greg`s are what we use, they have always been perfect, no clue why it would take you 4 hours to download a windows 7 iso file.

Official Windows 7 SP1 ISO from Digital River My Digital Life

And sure it`s available from a reliable source.
