Win7 Ult sp1 install error, missing manifests

Hello,

I've pasted the checkSUR log info from my Dell XPS420 after recently trying to update my Win 7 Ult x64 install to SP1. All other updates install fine, but SP1 does not. I get error 80073712.

The log seems to indicate that there are 4 manifest files that are either or corrupt. I've been trying to find fresh copies of the files.

I've been trying to find the 4 missing manifest files, but I've been unsuccessful.

I've been trying to fix my problem using the following guidelines, but the listed files are no where to be found. I checked on the install DVD by going through the mounting procedure listed in the guidelines but the files weren't listed. I also checked Windows.old to see if the files were in there and they weren't. Unfortunately I don't know of another computer that is running Win 7 Ult x64 in order to see if the files are available. Here is the link to the guidelines I've been following:

Advanced guidelines for diagnosing and fixing servicing corruption
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee619779(WS.10).aspx

Any help or further direction that you can provide in order for me to fix the problem, find the manifest files, etc... would be totally helpful.

Thanks,

gary
