Windows 7 will not install. Cpu will not load
I always offer to pay $50 in paypal to whoever helps, though no one takes me up. I have an ASUS cm1730 purchased at best buy in:2011 no: uogrades. Today I purchased 2 4 gig sticks of RAM. They are the correct kind, I am 100% positive. The MB holds 2-16 gig. Installing the ram somehow damaged the computer. I use this computer for my business. I just want to reformat the HD, take all the loss and have it working. PNY told me they have seen ASUS montheboards not recognize ram if the bios is outdated. My bios version is 0504 with a build date of 7/18/11. Bios recognized the 3 sticks of ram, HOWEVER, after installing the new ram it automatically took me to a windows start up repair, not allowing the computer to boot. I attempted to use a restore point as it suggested. This did not work. I accidently deleted the partition wity BOOTMNGR on it. I was crying a bit ago. This computer is needed. Now when I attempt to load it up. I get BOOTMNGR missing. I have the win 7 cd but it will not let me reinstall and all of the recovery points are gone. Since I deleted a partition (formatted it) the only way to boot the cpu is with the win 7 cd
When I click install now>upgrade I am givwn a compatibility report that says I must boot the computer without the cd in then insert the CD which is not possible cpu will not boot now.
When I try custom advanced I am given 3 options disk 0 patrition 1 oem reserved, disk part 2 recovery primary & disk0 patrition3 the largest 139gbsystem (reserved; primary; oem are listed as types.)
I have no physical backups. I always made restore points that are gone now. Ican not afford to lose the data on the cpu. But at this point am so angry I just want to format. it also gives me an option to load drivers. But I do not know what that means.
COULD HAVE INSTALLING RAM have started this? It automatically took me into a windows repair mode. I tried the 2 new sticks qlone and the old one. The win repair said something about I installed a new device and it needed to fix it. ALSO is their truth to my bios being so old my ASUS 2ill not recognine it. THANK YOU IN ADVANCEA for h3lp.
