Dual boot - remove 1st partition

    Have not heard of this error or problem.

    But since you can boot into Windows 7, the solution is surely to run a Repair install over your installation which will sort everything out - including any possible gremlins still remaining in the boot.

    Just run the Win7 installer from the desktop and choose Upgrade install (this is the repair install in Win7). Files, programs and settings will be untouched but the OS will be reinstalled underneath and any boot issues sorted out. Afterward you will need to reactivate at Computer>Properties.

    Thanks a lot... I had the same problem ... i had to install windows 7 in a New hard disk and wanted to use the old hard disk as slave... But when i tried to remove the windows 7 in the old HDD it was not possible.. then i used partition wizard.. it worked absolutely fine.. thanks a ton friends...
