    Window 7 installer issue

I'm trying to install windows 7 using an original cd. When i boot up, it says loading files and then opens up command prompt. On the title it says, "Administrator:X:\windows\system32\cmd.exe" and within the window it says, "Microsoft windows [version 6.1.7601]
X:\windows\system32>_" When I type a letter it appears like so, "^F" and nothing happens when i press enter.

A few days ago, i went to watch, "the interview" on one of those file hosting websites. I got several random pop ups. My keyboard went haywire. It basically went into some sort of shortcut mode. I couldn't type anything. So if I pressed the letter, "N" while chrome was open, it'd open up new window. If I pressed, "W", it'd close the window. Other letter than don't normally have any shortcuts wouldn't do anything. After searching the web the only temporary fix that I found was, going into control panel and enabling and disabling sticky keys and opening on screen keyboard and minimizing it. That would allow normal functionality for an hour or so and then it'd go back into yolo mode.

Out of frustration, I used DBAN to wipe the entire hard drive clean and now i'm trying to re-install windows with a legit CD and it's being all slutty.

I'm on a Dell Laptop. I tried using external keyboards but that didn't work either. I did scan for viruses, malware and adware using kaspersky, malwarebyte and another adware removal program that i don't remember.

Work through the steps to get and keep a perfect Clean Reinstall Windows 7
making sure to read the Special Note to Dell Owners toward the end.

Those steps are based on what's worked best in tens of thousands of installls we've directly helped with here since beta, and have been used by over a million consumers without a single complaint or return with problems.

Thanks for the help, but am I not doing a clean install already?

I wiped the hard drive, and now doing a fresh install using windows CD. Isn't that pretty much a clean install?

I'll go through the steps anyway but just saying...
