reinstall Win 7 OS from a blank screen showing boot manager missing ?

I want to start all over by installing the Windows 7 operating system. When I boot the computer all I get is a black screen with the message boot manager missing press central alternate delete and a prompt but I can't do anything from their. This is different, I just put the OS CD in and tried to boot from that and the bulk the missing boot manager line was a line saying press any key to boot from CD. Which I did and nothing happened still got the message missing boot manager.

Hi, welcome to the forum. i would run a check on the hard drive to make sure their is no problems with it. can use seatools for dos to check it. SeaTools for DOS | Seagate or if you know the make of the hard drive you can use their hard drive diagnostic tool. Hard Drive Diagnostics Tools and Utilities (Storage) - TACKtech Corp.

The disk is failing to boot for some reason. Is it scratched badly or dirty? Wash it in warm water with a soft cloth, polish it with soft dry cloth.

If problems persist then Troubleshoot Windows 7 Installation Failures - Windows 7 Help Forums..

Everything is here to get and keep a perfect Clean Reinstall Windows 7
