You will have to, using a 3rd party backup/restore program [free or fee, there are many of 'em out there], make a backup of your entire data, pics, music library folders onto an external media such as a USB stick [64 or 128GB], or hard-drive [either SSD or platter-clatter]. After the OS reinstall, copy back your goodies. I suggest eventually having two partitions, one for OS & all programs, the other for all your created and downloaded txt, doc, pic, music files.

How large is the drive ?

Create a partition on it and copy the files there.

Post a shot of disk management, fully expanded.

Disk Management - Post a Screen Capture Image

And please fill in your computer specs completely.

You can make a folder outside windows, but you only have 131 GB left to use out of the 1 TB drive.

    You need another storage drive.

Or.... get a Solid State drive to install windows on

Why do you have to re install windows ?

Hi then i would suggest getting an external drive to put the files you want saved. you should have one anyways so you have a backup if anything goes wrong.
