    Ive done exactly what youre talking about here on too many occasions to count. Retail iso with oem serials work just fine.

    Jeannie, starting with Vista the OEM and retail installers are the same. It is only the Product Key that determines which will activate.

    So, here is some paul harvey action for yall. I mounted my ultimate iso, removed the .cfg file and the 3rd screen asked me which version i cared to install. Worked like a charm. Not the green marshmallow kind you would find in a cereal with a similar name, but a charm nonetheless :) this thread opened my eyes to many a useful thing. Thanks a ton everyone!!!

    Could you list some step by step directions, complete with screenshots? I have an unused copy of Ultimate and it could prove useful in the future if I should ever need to reinstall another version on someone's computer.
