    Welcome to Seven Forums.

Go to BIOS and set your CD/DVD to boot first.

Or you can try F2 when you restart and the first screen comes up, it should list the F-key to use on that screen somewhere for the boot menu, Sony should be F2.

Many manufacturers also give you a shortcut to enter just the boot menu portion of your BIOS... usually F11 or F12.

It's F2 according to this list.

    (Link broken)

    Comes from a good source.

To boot from the Windows media you'll need to insert the Windows disk into your DVD drive and restart the computer.

To get to the boot menu you'll have to press a certain key as the system first starts to boot.

    Asus - F8
    HP/Compaq - Esc
    Sony - F2
    Acer - F2
    Gateway - F10
    eMachnes - F10
    Toshiba - F12
    Dell - F12
IBM/Lenovo - the blue Thinkvantage button

The Sony discs are intended to upgrade you from Vista to Win7, they are not designed for a clean install. If you want a clean install, you need to make a bootable DVD that has the appropriate x32 or x64 ISO image on the DVD. Check this thread for help:
